We provide interdisciplinary research related to cities & sustainability to support decision making in many areas:
We provide sustainability strategies that inform and drive concept development which can be implemented throughout the project lifecycle. We create sustainability baselines and action plans which enable sustainability reporting and support certification programs. Our strategies encompass spatial, social, economic and environmental aspects to address key issues for resilient cities.
Our strategies can drive the implementation of new developments, urban regeneration
projects as well as policies, regulations, & urban governance.
We provide strategies to support the implementation of
the UN Sustainable Development Goals to support:
We focus on SDG 11, however, cities
play a key role to achieving all other SDGs
Circular economy has the potential to transform cities. We link and integrate different systems including energy, water, material, and waste with land use and spatial strategies to achieve circularity and address social questions.
Socio-spatial analysis is concerned with examining social networks & systems in relation to spatial networks. Spatial configurations can sometimes highlight social issues, and at the same time they provide the canvas to address them and achieve socio-economic
sustainability.
One of the success measures of a development is the engagement of its community.
We help create formal and informal processes to engage people in their community and
help them be a part of its place making.
An engaged community
creates vibrant cities
